Transactions

Transactions are imported from your bank via OFX files. You can link them to claims as expenses or reimbursements.

Import

Upload an OFX file (exported from your bank or accounting software) to import transactions. The app will detect duplicates and assign transactions to the right bank account when possible.

Matching

Transactions can be classified as expenses, reimbursements, or unrelated. You can:

  • Link a transaction to a claim manually
  • Use the Review matches page to confirm or reject suggested matches
  • Enable optional AI-assisted matching in Settings → AI Features

Sorting the transactions list

Click any column heading to sort by date, description, account, amount, type, or linked claims. Click again to reverse. For paginated tables, sorting applies across all pages. See Using data tables for details.

Selecting rows

You can select transactions for bulk actions (e.g. Create claims for selected, Hide selected):

  • Single row: Tick the checkbox on a row to select or clear it.
  • Range: Click the checkbox on one row, then hold Shift and click the checkbox on another row. All rows between the first and last (inclusive) are selected. The range follows the current sort order.
  • Select All / Deselect All: Use the toolbar buttons to select or clear all rows on the current page.

Create claim from transaction

For debit transactions (outgoing money) that are not yet linked to a claim, click the claim icon on that row. A new claim dialogue opens with the transaction’s description, amount, currency, and date pre-filled. See Mark as claimable.

For credit transactions (incoming money), you can link as a reimbursement to an existing claim or create a new claim.
